My name is Sofea Khadijah Binti Zamani, you can call me Sofea or Pia, either one is fine by me. I am from Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan (Yes my house is near the beach. Yes, it's very pretty XD.) I am 20 years old and I am the oldest out of three siblings. Accustomed to being around teachers and lecturers, education intrigued me. Hence, why I chose to pursue my degree in TESL. I am hoping to follow my aunts and uncles footsteps in becoming an educator one day.

I love reading. There's just something so cathartic about turning the pages of our book, so immersed of the wonderous tales in it that we could escape reality, that for that few precious moments it felt like we are right there. Inside the story, accompanying the protagonist in an adventure so heroic and so amazing that we lost the sense of time. On that note, I also love writing. Creating something out of thin air is what writing is all about and I enjoy it immensely! I find writing to be an excellent stress reliever. Writing a short story or a short poem always makes me feel alive. I can vent out my frustration through fiction without repercussions and hearing positive feedback, constructive criticism, and encouragement from my readers always makes me giddy.

I enjoy life and I love space, but not as a scientist. I love and enjoy them as a poet. I read somewhere that the difference is that the scientist loves the mystery they can spend a lifetime solving. A poet however, loves the mystery they can spend a lifetime loving and I think that analogy is the best way to describe poets and literature lovers everywhere. People like us enjoy life in a way that we always seek for more. More of life for us to experience, more of life for us to appreciate, and more of life that we can uncover and love.
